More than 65 hands-on exhibits focusing on the natural science probe into magnetism, sound, light, electricity, computers, the environment and solar system.
The museum also has a 64-seat plantetarium.
Don't miss the Rock Climb, where kids and adults can climb across a horizontal wall, and the $1 million antique toy and train collection.
The museum is located near the corner of High and Crawford streets in Olde Town, Portsmouth. The museum is handicapped accessible and group tour reservations are available.
