Everything behind its doors is beautiful (especially the staff). Space inside this uniquely decorated establishment is somewhat limited, but used creatively. Small tables and discreetly hidden booths, equipped with comfortable pillows, align large decorated walls covered in original art. The dim lighting and fabric draping only further set the mood.
Receive delicious appetizers and good drinks at reasonable prices from a fully stocked and well-lit bar. Anything top shelf is the drink of choice here, but tequila shots appear to be fairly popular as well. Beer drinkers are always welcome, but those around you might persuade you to want to step it up a notch or two. Its highlight would have to be the enormous pillow covered circular bed juxtaposed at the entrance of the club. Equipped with immediate bar service, this beats the typical VIP booth any night.
Talented DJs spinning the latest techno, trance, and house music provide the soundtrack for creating intimacy or simply just sustaining it. Located towards the oceanfront, its subtle Dam Neck Shopping Plaza surroundings prevent much of the craziness that you might find directly on the strip. Parking, for instance, is always plentiful. However, don’t take that for granted because as with any true lounge, space inside might not be.
A great choice for couples to get away any given night of the week, Central 111 is a New York lounge’s next of kin.
