Expensive might be the first thought that comes across your mind when entering Guadalajara’s, but your perception will certainly change once inside. If your able to see the neon lit sign that marks its location, you will soon fine one of Pembroke’s newest locations. The restaurant’s fresh and colorful décor of might overwhelm any visitor but this Guadalajara’s is just as inviting as the other locations throughout Hampton Roads.

Getting there: If you visit the Guadalajara’s that is located in Downtown Norfolk, you already know about the treacherous walk from your vehicle, throughout the scattered parking garages, and all the way down Granby Street. At the Pembroke location, you can take the stairs or elevator directly downstairs from the parking garage, practically adjoined to the rear of the establishment. The large stone canopy keeps even the worst weather away for those waiting in line or eating on the patio out front. Rain, sleet, or snow you and your friends can still enjoy a wonderful night of dining and dancing.

Drinks: Although most mixed drinks are always popular, “Guad’s” provides you with an entire wall-length Miami style bar specialty. If courageous enough, be sure to try one of their many infamous mixed frozen beverages. Top pick, if your stomach can handle it: 180% Octane.

Bottom line:
Adding nothing but more vivacity to the Pembroke area, Guadalajara’s is both a restaurant and nightclub to add to your list. Authentic Mexican cuisine, a mixture of delicious drinks, some Latin flavor, and a plethora of sounds to match all make this the perfect destination. You won’t be disappointed! It doesn’t matter if you’re entertaining your special someone or all of your friends, a casual outing here will be one to remember.
