Metromix Twin Cities set up a cheering station for Minnesota Thunder fans during the game against the British Football Club Burnley.

Even though the Thunder fell to Burnley F.C. (0-2) the fans were in exctied to see their hometown team play against such a great institution (it was the first time in 30 years a British team has played in Minnesota.)

Burnley F.C.has won every honor in the British League, except unfortunately, the league cup. They did at one point, however, manage to rack up an astonishing 30 win streak, a record which stood for more than twice as long as the British absence in Minnesota.

The game took place at the spankin' new National Sports Center in Blaine, which will certainly be the home of future matches to come.
