PICK OF THE WEEK: DISTURBIA

You might have noticed 2007 has been very good to Shia LeBeouf. The former Disney Channel star has the lead role in one of the summer's biggest hits, "Transformers," and voiced the central surfer penguin in the animated "Surf's Up." Now he's in the midst of shooting another blockbuster-to-be: the latest installment in the "Indiana Jones" franchise.

But the "Year of Shia" officially kicked off when his teen comedy/thriller/romance hybrid "Disturbia" emerged as the spring's biggest surprise hit. Liberally borrowing from Alfred Hitchcock's classic "Rear Window," the movie demonstrated LaBeouf has the goods to be a Hollywood leading man.

The DVD release includes Shia-centric special features like an audio commentary with the star (and director D.J. Caruso and lovely co-star Sarah Roemer), outtakes, deleted scenes, photos, trailers and a making-of.

We'd be totally sick of him by now, if he wasn't so darn charming.

"Disturbia" is also available on Blu-ray and HD-DVD.

Also released:
"Are We Done Yet?" (also Blu-ray)
"Fakers"
"I Think I Love My Wife"
"Private Fears in Public Places"
"The Salon"
