A press release says she will venture overseas for a string of European dates starting later this month, then return to launch her American run in Hampton.
A spokesman for Hampton Coliseum said the date is not yet confirmed, but that staff members are working out working out details.
On the "As I Am" tour, Keys will play 30 U.S. dates, ending with a June 18 show at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Designer Giorgio Armani will create a custom wardrobe for the tour, according to the press release.
Keys' album "As I Am" is the No. 1 on the Billboard albums chart. It has sold more than 3 million copies in just 12 weeks. Keys' song "No One" is currently at No. 5 on Billboard's Hot 100.
The singer made "As I Am" after fighting through a personal low point in 2006. After rebounding, she told Entertainment Weekly last year, she took more control of her career. Seeing the new album take off has been gratifying, she said.
"I love everyone's response to the music," she told the magazine. "I'm inspired. I'm in a good place."
