Joss Stone
The wild card in this year's Jazz Fest lineup is 20-year-old Stone, a bluesy rock singer who has recently been flirting with hip-hop and R&B. Her CD "Introducing Joss Stone" sounded something like Aretha Franklin backed by Kanye West and featured guest appearances by the rapper Common and Lauryn Hill.
Recently, the British vocalist has collaborated in the studio with the rap duo Clipse from Virginia Beach.
