Alexander's sometimes gets overshadowed by the hotel's more elegant Riverwalk restaurant, but there are some advantages here. Free valet parking allows diners to slip in easily for a meal. The view of the Elizabeth River is unsurpassed, and the restaurant's superb menu hits the spot for light fare.
A nice selection of appetizers and heartier items from the hotel kitchen offer much more than the usual bar munchies. Substantial salads are available as well.
