Filthy, dirty, need I say more?

Overall rating:

Doumars is always dirty. Dirty buckets at entrance. Worn down inside. Trash everywhere. Dirty dishes left out. The floors are not swept. I am surprised the health dept doesnt shut this place down. When I eat somewhere I expect the place to be clean, especially if it is a place that serves food.

Doumar's may have history behind it, but time is passing it by. While the charm of a drive-up and ice cream-based treats are appealing, that is about all it has. I recently visited Doumar's after passing by it for months. I ordered a BBQ sandwich, french fries and a chocolate shake. While the prices at first seemed right, it wasn't until I got the food before realizing different.
The sandwhich was on little more than a roll and contained very little meat. The meat was a little dry and had limited taste. The fries can in a very small cardboard boat and were nothing special. The shake was well done I and I enjoyed it very much.
The only time I would go back is for the shakes and I would not go out of my way even then.

there every chance we get and took a few friends and they love it also. Hope it stay around for a long time

so my grandkids can go and see how enjoyable it
