Since 1991, Magnolia has developed a welcoming neighborhood persona, inviting a varied clientele for its eclectic menu. At its heart, advertised outside in neon, are specialties featuring certified Angus beef, a label that guarantees a certain quality, but there's also seafood, chicken, pasta and more. Thanks to a selection of sandwiches and salads that can be built into meals with a choice of toppings - marinated sirloin, fried oysters, grilled chicken - prices also meet the needs of customers from all walks of life.
Appetizers divide between bar munchies like onion rings and buffalo chicken, and dinner introductions such as barbecued shrimp. White chili, a "faux filet" and plenty of larger steaks (some servings topping the one-pound mark), plus ribs, chicken and lamb round out the menu. Delicious desserts include: several cakes, a brownie sundae and mousse pie along with lighter selections such as crème brulee and fruit sorbets.
