Krikales and some of the people who worked at Nick's are back in business, creating their seafood shish kabob, a skewer loaded with broiled lobster, shrimp and scallops, as well as tomato, onion and mushrooms. Shrimp Givetsi, or shrimp with garlic, tomatoes, mushrooms, scallions and seashell pasta, is also available.

Even though the atmosphere in the dining room is café casual, Krikales works some old-fashioned elegance into the evening. Crisp white cloths cover plain tables, and servers wear black-and-white uniforms with black bow ties.

You also can get sandwiches with fries, including an Angus burger, fried flounder or crab cake. The children's menu lists pizza, burger, flounder, spaghetti and chicken tender.

Homemade desserts also take you back to the legendary Nick's, featuring its baked Alaska, rice pudding and coconut cream pie.
