The name says it all at the Taphouse Grill at Ghent. This is a beer lover's heaven. An extensive menu features a bevy of brews in bottles and on tap: ales, lagers, pilsners, porters, stouts and more. And don't forget to check the "new brew board." And the brew's not the only thing the grill does well. Plenty of good eats are available, too, and almost everything is affordably priced. The menu sports lots of appetizer choices – -plenty for sharing – and a good assortment of sandwiches, pizzas, entrees, soups, salads and vegetarian fare. The Taphouse is a great place to hang out, sample some new brews and indulge yourself with a variety of great-tasting menu options in a casual setting. Hosts private parties on site, caters outside events. Popular outdoor patio. 34 beers on tap - largest selection in Hampton Roads. Live entertainment on Saturdays with small cover charge. Genres include mostly local jazz, funk, reggae, punk, rock. There are also occasional acoustics during week; new food & beer menus every Thursday. During happy hour there is outdoor seating if weather permits; 2 pool tables; dart board are also available.
