Well, my wife and I went here because of the Daily Press review. The best part is that the food was excellent but the service was the worst I have ever had. Let me just say that the place was not busy. There were only two other couples in there at the time. I asked for unsweetend tea due to being diabetic and my wife sweetened. The waiter managed to get them mixed up and I already put artifical sweetner in mine before tasting. Wow was that ever sweet. After my wife and I swapped teas next came two cornbread muffins. We consumed the cornbread and when the waiter finally came back asked why don't they serve butter with them. He looked in the bread basket and asked 'Didn't I bring you butter? I must have forgot.' Minutes dragged on waiting for new cornbread until the owner asked if we needed anything. We mentioned the cornbread nad she hurried the waiter along. Next after another long lull I spied the waiter coming to us with salad plates and wearing plastic gloves. The owner intercepted him before he reached us and had him remove the gloves. At least they use sanitary practices. Dinner was served by the owner and as our drinks were at the bottom the waiter finally came over to ask us if we needed more. He returned with two pitchers of tea and no ice. I waited to see if he would return with ice, when the owner returned, saw there was no ice and retured with a glass of ice. This very slow service continued until the point of having to ask the owner for our check.
