"It's kinda tough when you open up a Spanish restaurant and one of your key attractions you're not able to serve" he added.
Christine Kutchen tends bar at Bodega. She's also pleased with the new law..or lack thereof. "I don't have to worry about people getting all mad at you. It just doesn't taste the same when it [the fruit] is not added correctly cause it doesn't soak into the fruit and it's pointless."
The Virginia legislature took another look at the sangria ban after a Northern Virginia bar owner was caught serving it. He challenged the ruling and won.
Now, the lovers of the "real" sangria are winners too.
