The Mill Creek Inn at the Colonial Golf Course is a real “stroke” of fine dining. It is a little off the beaten path, but it is worth finding. Terrie and Francis Fenderson have operated the restaurant since 1996. This year, they instituted a moderately priced grill menu with selections such as blackened chicken, Delmonico steak, shrimp and scallops, and veal scaloppine. A “slice” of dessert is not to be missed. The intimate dining room, which overlooks the golf course, has a relaxing atmosphere. The patio is great for outside dining.
