Soya has clean, spare lines in a small space with large windows. The restaurant has a sushi bar, and sushi can be ordered a la carte, in combinations, or as a dinner. There is also tempura-fried sushi and hibachi-grilled meat, chicken, seafood and vegetables. Service can be uneven. This restaurant is a sister to the original SoYa in Newport News with many of the same features.
