Summer selections never tasted so sweet

As the South Florida weather gets hotter, restaurants around the
tri-county region are scrambling to infuse something fresh and cool
into their menus. Like the inevitable turning of the clock, chefs and
patrons alike seem to always want something new. Pastry Chef Matthew
Petersen of Café Boulud
explained, “We like to stay seasonal, to change up the menu with the
seasons and keep it fresh.” Metromix scanned the area for something
original and sweet to tempt the palette, specifically summer desserts.
From the tang of citrus to the smooth tradition of ice cream, we found
some treats sure to please.
