Plaza Del Sol
Décor: Plaza Del Sol's furnishings and decor are imported from Mexico. The restaurant has three seating areas: the outside dining area, the eating galley and the bar. The dining galley gives you the option of chair seating or bench/booth seating. The perks of the bar area include quick access to a drink and two flat-screen TVs.

Menu: The menu is a long one, with about five pages of authentic Mexican meals. Appetizers, salads, nachos, mixed dishes, quesadillas, beef, chicken, seafood, enchiladas, and children plates fill the menu. There's good news for vegetarians: Eight items on the menu are specifically prepared for non-carnivores.

Price: Appetizers range from $4.50 to $10.50, soups from $3 to $7.95 and nachos from $5.50-$7. For entrées the specials range from $12.50 for sizzling fajitas to $24.99 for fajitas for two people. Beef and chicken start at only $7  and top out at $14.50 for Carne Asada. Most would find the pricing fair given the quantity and quality of what you get.

Inside scoop: The business is family owned -- mother, son, sister and even a little sister work here, if you consider a smile at the door work. The tiles in the table were imported, inlayed and hand painted by the owners. Big things are planned for the outdoor dining when the weather breaks, but until then Plaza Del Sol will be implementing a karaoke night. Mexican karaoke, anyone?
