Just over the Lesner Bridge off Shore Drive, Chick's Oyster Bar is a little piece of paradise tucked away along the Lynnhaven Inlet. It's a wonderful place to spend a relaxing afternoon or evening dining on delicious seafood. It's also a great location to watch boaters from all walks of life motor by while you ponder the price of the immense homes that line the shore around the inlet. But be prepared to wait if you get there much past 5 p.m. Chick's has seen growth spurts over the years with additional indoor and deck dining, and the seating capacity exceeds the size of the parking lot. Some people come dressed pretty snazzy, but shorts and T-shirts tend to be the desired attire.
