Where would “Doctor Who” be without time. Well, nowhere. Since the British series started in 1963 (751 episodes so far, folks), the ever-evolving “Doctor” in question has had the power of time travel in his very hands. The show’s most recent incarnation, which is about to finish its fourth season’s U.S. run, can find itself in Elizabethan England in one episode or visiting New New York in the year five billion the next. Not the most realistic use of time, but certainly the most British.
