Oh, the joys of summer—sun, surf and the great outdoors. Summer TV, though? Not so bright.

The fact is, we here at Metromix have to remain vigilant and go knee-deep into the brisk TV waters to bring you the best boob tube info all the time, regardless of the season. We come across plenty of fool’s gold, in the sunny months especially, but once in a while something shiny and new catches our eye. And it’s those little nuggets that make all of the sifting through sitcom crud ridiculous reality worthwhile.
