Partners in crime don’t get any better than gay men and their best girls. Rules? What rules? On “Ugly Betty,” Marc (Michael Urie) and Amanda (Becki Newton) hold entry-level positions at Mode, but there’s nothing novice about their skills for underhanded thrills.

Besides couture potshots at misplaced Betty (America Ferrera), they scoured Fashion Week to sell its hippest design to a mall chain and shamelessly helped to overthrow the Meades. If it’s in, so are Marc and Amanda.
